The first option is that you can make all of your content public so that everyone can view your Profile,
Scoop, Scribbles, Packs, Photos, and Gurutalks, except for your Private Scribbles and any information
related to your Date Pack. You also have an option to have your Date of Birth public or private.
The second option is that you can share your information with your pack members only.
The prospective pack members that have you in their MyPicks packs can only see your basic profile information.
However, once you accept a ping request from them, they can see all your information.
The third option is that you do not share your information to anyone.
In this case, we display your general information, which includes your Basic
Profile, Scoop, Public Scribbles, Profile photo, the number of packs you have,
and the number of pack members you have. The Date Pack and Private Scribbles
are always private and no one has access to it. The MyPicks, Mail, and Pings
features are also private. If you want to keep a very private profile, this is
a good setting to use and will give you the most privacy. However,
keep in mind that people will have trouble identifying and finding you.
There is a fourth option, but it only exists in the case of MyPacks,
where you could set an additional privacy for specific category pack
members only such as Friends, Activity, and Guru. So for example,
if you do not want members in Friend category to view a specific Activity pack,
you can set its privacy setting for Activity category members only.
Finally, for your Personal profile, you can restrict its visibility to
Date members only, if you are not comfortable sharing intimate details to others.
When you create a pack in Friend, Activity, or Guru category, you can set the privacy
setting to private, public, pack members only, or category pack members only. So if
you create a bunch of packs in the Friends category and would like to have only your friend
members, and not your Activity, Guru, or Date members, be able to view who is in your Friends
packs, then you can set the privacy setting to Friend members only. The Date pack members are
always private and you cannot change this setting.
This was set up to prevent any accidental mistake that allows people to view your Date Packs.
By default, everyone can see your Basic profile except for your Date of Birth, which people can see if you allow it to be public. The privacy setting can be set for your Social, Personal, Professional, Activity, and Guru profile content to public, members only, and private, and for Personal profile you can also set it to Date pack members only. The latter option is available, to allow only your Date pack members to view your Personal profile, if you are not comfortable sharing your intimate details to others
Everyone can see your profile photos and your friend photos. However, you can control the privacy of your photos by setting the corresponding album privacy to be set for public, members only, or private view.
By default all users will be able to see your Public Scribbles. For Private Scribbles, the pack member can see their and your scribbles, but not that of others, and be able to write on it.
By default all users will be able to find you in a search. And depending on your Privacy setting, people can view limited or all your profile, packs, photos, scribbles, and scoop content.
We allow one ping per category to anyone, and after which they no longer allowed to do so. Only in the case of Guru, we allow as many pings to a person as the number of Guru profiles.
If you delete a pack member completely from all your packs, the connection is broken between you and the other person. So, that pack member cannot access your members only pages.
